Went down to BestBuy and picked up my FW. It is taking me a while to uninstall all the programs that Sony so kindly installed and that i don't want.

Love the screen. The system is fast.

    I'm happy! :D

    I got a

Windows Experience Base Index of 4.7

    You will enjoy it.

We got ours last Saturday at Fry's (they matched price).

    Screen is awesome.

When you get around to it, let me know if the machines power settings work consistyently for you.

Sometimes for us it works great, screen dms, the sleeps later.

    Sometimes, screen never dims.

Sometimes screen dims but it never hits sleep mode.

    Thanks! & enojoy!

I paid $914, after the $85 Rewards Club Certicates I had. It's a large machine but pretty light, 6lbs. I love the screen. Lots of room and very bright. I'm running it on a 54G wireless network and all the software updates are 200kbs+. :D

I tried viewing some movie trailers, and they are awesome!

    Still loading & updating software.

My only complaint is that the mouse buttons are too flush with the palm rest. It is sometimes hard to feel where the buttons are

    I don't know what an Eco-Screen is?

No regrets, I'm Very Pleased with the FW, I even had a nice Targus case sitting in the closet that the FW fits nicely.

I downloaded iTunes and I'm listening to radio. This is the best sound I have heard out of a laptop. Very light and bright Plus there is Dolby souround sound enabler!

There is more volume available than I like sitting near the FW. Great sound! :D
