When you use windows explorer to view picture thumbnails it seems to have to build them every time you go into the folder. It takes a long time to see the picture of the image in thumbnail view. Take Picasa for example the first time you visit a folder it builds the thumbnail view. Then every time after its very fast in building them. Why is windows explorer take so long every time. DO I have something turned off somewhere?

I forgot to mention this is a Sony FZ290 running Vista Ultimate. I love my new notebook. Having the Blueray burner being able to drop 20+GB folders with breaking them down to smaller sizes is great! The display with the XBright Hicolor blows the Dell 1530 that I had sitting next to it away. I do wish that Sony had a little higher resolution screen with this model and it would be perfect.
