Looks really nice, do you by chance use some case for it ? I was thinking about getting the leather one + the bulk battery, but now when I see the pics of this battery I'm not sure if I'd be able to fit it in there.

Do you mean the leather carrying case or cover?

if the case it will fit but if it is the leather cover (Brown) it will not.

I got slightly bigger portfolio and it fits there nice. If you want some tight fitting case then you'll have a problem.

Doesn't seem so big as i thought!
Is it comfortable to have the bulk battery? I mean it gives a lot of high to the TZ? The colour is the classic black?

congrats, and a nice machine. the battery is big, but not as big as I thought. its very good if you're out a whole day and not want to be plugged in. I would consider getting just the extended, but they are way too pricey.

whats specs did you get and have you tested the battery to see the max time it would give you?

The color is Bordeaux though it doesn't show up so good on the pictures, will be making some new ones outside when sun comes out.

Outrigger, my specs are same with you.

I bet the Bordeaux is very nice, that was the color I was going to go with, it would've been nice if the palm rest would be the same color though. Anyways, one thing I noticed was that if I shine a light on my lid, the carbon fiber turns into a bordeaux like color, weird.

Whats your impression of it so far as to speed, noise, performance? and where did you get it from?

I'm always curious to what other buyers think.

Can you check if the keyboard touches the screen when closed?

Well, if the 1st battery is going to be the Large one, the conics.net charge it only $80, $40 more than the standard. Of course, if you want the large for extra battery then is $335!
I'm quite thinking to take the bulk as the first :)

No it doesn't. There is slight crack between and as you can see TZ90 keyboard is lower that touchpad part. Though the screen does bend much, if you add any weight to the lid it will touch buttons, but I use the vaio wipe which came with the laptop to cover keys when I close the lid, works perfectly.

Feel free to ask any questions :)

    Okay, some more:

Be gentle with your fingerprint reader, the edge next to fingerprint reader is really weak.

if you use your laptop often for a long period of time without an outlet, then I would definitely suggest the biggest one, but if you're like me where I take it out about once a week with me, but always near an outlet, I would go with the middle one. It fits easier into sleeves and keeps the weight down. But the biggest battery isnt too bad if you really need it.

Anyone here uses this case and has the bulk battery ? :

If so, can you confirm that the TZ fits in there ? I'm kind of afraid the display would touch the keyboard in this case with bulk battery (or even with the standard one ).

Link doesn't work. The battery doesn't play any role in keyboard touching screen, read my other post too.

    http://www.geekstuff4u.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=536 - that's the link :)

I see, perfect then. Do you think it will be safe to carry it in this case in order to prevent the keyboard from touching the display ? I don't want to put anything between it every time I close the lid.
