    Hello,

First post, I tried doing a search but couldn't find an answer to my problem.

I have a Sony Vaio FW390 and have a Pioneer BD-RW BDR TD-01 drive. My problem is, when I go to burn to a CD-R, it only burns at 4x when the specs state that this particular drive is supposed to burn CD-R's at 24x. I've tried using different programs (Winamp, Windows Media player, etc) and the results are all the same.

Is anyone familiar with this problem, and if so, can you offer a solution? Thanks.
