Hello guys, I need to ask you for some help for my notebook. It's a VAIO SVS1511FLB (that's the south American code for that model)

A couple of months ago its left speaker died suddenly, and now I feel the right one is slowly dying too. Which means, I need to replace them :(.
The guarantee is over, so I have to do it on my own and have been searching the kind of speaker that goes to it. The problem is, I don't know which one is the correct model. I made a list of possible speakers I think could work, and need you to tell me which are the ones I could use.

    Sony Vaio Speakers | eBay

Sony Vaio SVE15 Series Left and Right Speaker Set | eBay

Genuine Sony Vaio SVE151D11L SVE15115FX SVE15 Series Right and Left Speakers | eBay

Please help me with this because I really really love this notebook <3

    Thanks! :D

If you can't find the exact speaker you can try below!

You can find small speakers at your local electronics shop or market go to some mobile technicians and you can find speakers from small radios, or mobiles or even another brand laptop. You can ask where you can get ones similar to yours and they'd tell you. Make sure you buy speakers with similar power rating (wattage) and also shape as the ones in the PC. Usually speakers have 2 wires and you'd need to modify the new speaker to fit into the old speaker connector so you can connect it to the motherboard. Should take you like 10 minutes to do.

Yes, it takes 10 minutes to do but it takes forever to find speakers with exact size as you recommend above.
OP know eBay and pointed some out. I just let them know the right one to purchase, is it hard to find.
Read and clear your mind before giving out comments.

    Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, I posted that list because I watched a video of a guy who disassemblied the same computer/model as mine. There he shows the type of speakers it uses.
I don't know what you think seeing this video, but I really hope you can point me in the right direction.

next4nextel: not just wattage. You have to match the impedance first, as that is even more important. The speakers might be of similar size and weight but if the impedance is different you will have problems. The impedance is usually printed on the speaker itself, but if it is not, just measure the resistance between the terminals with a multimeter and make sure it is close to the resistance of the original speaker. E.g if the original speaker was 8 ohms nominal, replace with 8 ohms nominal. I have seen speakers with impedances ranging from 2 ohms to 32 ohms, and I know there are others even beyond this range.

Since the OP said he was in SA, I assumed that there might be a probability that he might not be able to use Ebay. Not all countries are as ebay friendly as you think, for instance no one on ebay ships to my country due to customs and cost of shipping for instance. Also can the OP wait till he or she finds the correct speaker? I had to wait 2 months for a screen for my vaio to arrive and clear customs.

Well I never answered this post lol. I finally took the risk and bought the speakers that ngvuanh told me, and guess what, it works perfectly in the first try! .

So if anybody have the same problem that need to change the speakers from this model (SVS1511FLB (this one is from Latinamerica)) you just need to buy this one Sony Vaio SVS15 Series Left Right Speaker Set | eBay.

Again thanks everyone for your time and space!
