I Have A Sony Tx650 Laptop And A Bx 15.4 Inch Screen, Is There Anyway To Download The Power Management Console That Comes With The Tx650 And Put It On The Bx Model? The Reason Why I Ask Is When You Are On A Tx In Control Panel If You Select Vaio Power Management Adaptive Mode It Lets You Select Fan Coltrol Volumes 1-5 To Quiet The Fan, Has Anyone Been Able To Load That On A Bx Model Of Any Kind, On The Bx Series It Only Gives You Options Of Battery Life, Adaptive, And Performance, But Doesnt Show Cpu Fan Levels Of 1-5

Sony's power management software is model specific and multi-level fan speed control is a function available to "mobile notebook", or TX and S series, only. Anything above S is not considered mobile by Sony's (or Sony Japan's) standard and they don't bother with detailed fan control for optimum heat and noise management.
