Ok so i installed xp instead of vista, but now i need to get vista back and i want to recover the whole system, but when i try pressing F10 at the vaio logo when booting, it says ntldr missing, press ctrl alt del to restart. and i dont have vaio recovery utility on xp, how can i sort this?

Did you backup or burn the recovery partition on the drive to DVDs prior to installing XP?
-
looks like you deleted the hidden partition in your vaio TZ
thats not good news ...
you will most probably need to get the a recovery disk from a friend or sony itself -
no i havent deleted the recovery partition - i can still see it in disk management, does anyone have a tz11xn and could make some recovery disks for me? i would pay a lot to get them!

You may have another option if the recovery's still there. Install a fresh windows XP and then run VAIO Recovery Wizard to create your own DVDs. PM me with your email, I will send you stand alone VAIO Recovery utility.
Please Help, Serious Tz Problem!
