    Hi all,

I went to the sony vaio site this morning and customized the notebook i was looking for. Please let me know if I have made a right choice and if I have to add or remove anything. I am looking for good multimedia experience along with good stability for development environment. I think the price is pretty expensive and hence want a suitable suggestion from experts in here

This is good config. But the grahics card 8400M GT is a mid range card.

Sony installs too many bloatware that makes ur new notebook start up like a turtle, it can be improved though.

Graphic Card is eh, and also look how fast is that 100GB HDD, 5400rpm or 7200rpm. Other than that it's not bad for that price.

Can't comment on how good are Vaio laptops, never had one other than IBM Thinkpad, Dell Inspiron and Asus G.

But I checked out a lot in the Sony Vaio site and no place I could find the best way to customize my notebook for a Good VideoCard. I had no options to choose and hence proceeded with that. I want to customize my notebook and not buy a ready config one. So please suggest me how to go about it
