    Please help me to decide between Z and SR

    I am ready to order a new laptop with W7 and Blu-ray. Currently I have a Z550.
    When I customize a SR590 and Z890 with identical specs I get a price difference of around $400. Z is more expensive of course. If I go with SR I will give up Carbon Fiber,WWAN and GPS. Since I am in Canada I really don't use the WWAN.
    Are there any other major differences between Z and SR?
    Which one would you guys go for? Thank you for any input.

    If you game or want to save money take the SR.

    If you prefer portability and battery life take the Z.

    if u alrdy hv a z550, i would say skip both models

    it's just a plain waste of $ when the specs are similar.
    might as well save the $ and wait for new intel mobile cpu to be launched by sony

    I agree with Firestone. Unless you specifically need a second laptop, I'd stick with what you have, or wait until Sony announces a successor to the Z series.
