I currently own a Sony Vaio NS which I purchased in April. I HATE it!! When I bought the laptop that was the best 15.4 inch screen laptop that they had so I "settled". Now Sony has released the BZ series which is exactly what I NEED. The only problem is that I can no longer return it because it has been over thirty days since I purchased it. I did however, purchase the accidental damage warranty when I got the laptop. So my question is, is there any way I can tell them that my laptop is broken and since they have discontinued production on the NS they will send me one of equal value? How exactly does that work? I want to know how I can get out of this laptop and into a new one without having to pay for the new one. I just want to send back my NS which is basically brand new.

No there is no way to LEGALLY do this.

the only way you can do is to sell the laptop and take a loss and buy the new one

Correct. This is the ONLY way. Good luck.
Please help me with my Vaio NS RETURN
