    I would like to obtain the original part number/model number of the power supply which came included with each of the following VAIO notebook:

    I do not understand why that is an issue, but I have one with a V26 and one with a V32. Personally I had never understood what the difference is, except of the fact that older units are bigger. Mine are exactly the same in size but have different numbers after the V. Maybe just different manufacturers...

    You need to find out the voltage and current rating (V and A). Mine says 19.5V, 4.7A. You need an adapter that has the same voltage and a current rating equal to or more than the original rating. So I can use a 19.5V, 6A adapter, no problem.

    You can also get one of those universal adapters where you will need to set the voltage and polarity before you can use it.
