I am planning to buy VAIO CS 24 model. But I need XP in it. In the sony-asia website, I have found drivers for this model
    http://www.sony-asia.com/support/download/298036/product/vgn-cs24gh/sectionfirst?subpage=detail
But the steps mentioned to install SATA driver it is written that I need to have one external floppy drive. Is there any wayout if I donot have external floppy drive ?
Had anyone try to install XP in VAIO CS 24 following the steps mentioned in the above link?
If I install XP then can I use VISTA also, I meant to say that dual booting is possible?

Is it possible to reformat the HDD if XP is not working properly in this model?

(Actually I am scared after reading warnings in SONY website for XP installation)

You can disable Sata native support in the bios. That will allow xp to recognize the hard drive.
This is the easy way even though you supposedly gain 15% more performance when running xp in sata mode.
