Just got a new 19' samsung monitor. Works great in stamina mode, crisp and clear at 1440/900 pixels. In speed mode, it is all washed out and the whole screen is not visible and the top display option is 1280/800. Any ideas what I need to change?

    Thanks!!!!

Most likely driver issue there. Download latest/new ones again to see if you can resolve it.

I assume you mean the nvidia drivers? Downloaded this http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_158.24.html

just now, got this error after it installed a few files: "nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible"

Oy. Any tips or pointers on what to do or where to look for a resolution would be much appreciated!

Well that was the pointer - I think its a driver issue with Vista and nVidia - I've got numerous problems with my nVidia graphic chip/driver. Until they release something new,i.e. Sony or nVidia - there might not be a solution for now.
