I have been in touch with helpful Ivan at Portable One, but I still have some questions regarding using the P1 Optimized disc for Vista Business on my TZ150. Im hoping you can help. My questions, in order of importance, are:
1. If for any reason, after running the P1 Optimized disc, I want to go back to the way the TZ150 originally came from the Sony factory (bloatware and all), can I still restore the laptop to its factory settings? (The P1 Optimized disc does not automatically wipe out the hidden recovery partition of the hard drive, does it?)
2. Having read the other threads relating to the P1 Optimized disc, I would like to know whether at this point running the P1 Optimized disc leaves the TZ user without certain essential and/or desirable programs or Sony utilities. If so, which ones?
3. In general, what exactly does that disc do? How does it work? Did P1 just perform the laborious task (which I, too, have performed before) of uninstalling a bunch of stuff and then making a disc image of the result, which they are now willing to sell to me? Or is P1s image of some sort of successful clean or semi-clean install of Vista Business?
Thank you in advance for your help.
