    For those who purchased a Sony SZ6 Laptop from Portable One, what CD'S did the laptop come with? Windows Vista CD? Recovery CD? PLease Tell me All

    Actually, I think Sony stopped giving CD's with any of their notebooks. Nothing for OS, Drivers, Recovery discs, anything. I know that my FJ270 didn't come with any last year.

    Did anybody here manage to install everything (OS + drivers) from the DVD set provided by P1? Is everything working properly?

    no cd's r u serious? what if you plan to format your hard drive and re-install windows and all drivers for sony components?

    All the necessary files and drivers are on a dedicated partition. You would need to make your own CDs or DVDs by using the Sony back-up app before reformatting. However, if you choose P1's clean installation option, they may provide you with CDs (I would think this would be a must, since you wouldn't have the usual separate partition).
