    Possible to replace a mobo in Sony laptop?

    Hi.. Suppose mobo in the laptop fails, then is it possible to replace the mobo? And if so, I can buy a mobo having a dedicated graphics card?

    In any laptop at least the manufactuer is able to replace the motherboard.

    However, it costs a lot, often as much or half as much as the laptop...

    About the dedicated graphics card - if you buy an SR with integrated graphics and then take a motherboard with dedicated graphics it may work.
    However there would be a few problems - layout of graphics card. Heat management...
