    I was curious as to what sort of scores Windows 7 is giving to different specs of FWs. Heres mine:
    Processor: P8700 ------>6.1
    Memory: 4 GB --------->6.1
    Graphics:ATI HD4650--->5.9
    Gaming Graphics-------->6.6
    Primary Hard Disk(7200rpm 320 gb)--->5.8 (base)

    I have a 490CTO with win7 home premium. I can't remember but I think that I had exactly the same score with vista, only nothing went over 5.9. The HDD score was the same. Did anybody else get a different base score after upgrading to 7?

    My laptop pales in comparison to yours, i have the FW21E model. But i still love it :D

    My score was pretty much the same, i did get a higher Processor score because i moved from 32 bit to 64 bit, also memory improved i think. Thats it. I was hoping for a better gaming score but my model wasnt built for gaming anyway

    Here's my score:

    Processor : P8700 > 6.1
    RAM 4GB > 6.1
    Graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 > 5.9
    Gaming graphics > 6.6
    Primary hard disk > 7.3 (OCZ Vertex SSD)
    System :Windows 7 x64 pro.

    mine is FW590G CTO, this was my first laptop :cool:

    That seems a bit odd. I thought that the graphics rating was pretty much universally lower than the gaming score, but yours is exactly the opposite.

    Here are mine in Windows 7:

    GPU: 4.7
    Gaming GPU: 5.7
    HDD: 5.3

    Quite surprised by gaming graphics since my videocard is horrible and it had a score of around 4.7 in Vista. Everything else pretty much stayed the same.

    laptop acer aspire 5739G ...initialy i had on the laptop another cpu T6500 that i was scoring 5.6 and now i changed it with P8700 and now i score 6.2 only the aero it seems to botle neck the score lol only 5.3 prob something to do with the direct X or something ...

    i am running a clean install of w7 ultimate, but have stressed the hdd because i did several experimentation with another OS in one of the partition,so a lot of formatting.

    my vaio is a FW560 model, I got these ratings

    Processor - 5.7
    Memory - 5.8
    Graphics - 5.9
    Gaming Graphics - 6.6
    Primary hard disk - 5.8

    its a core 2 duo p7450 2.13ghz 3mb cache
    memory 6GB DDR2
    ATI HD 4650
    500gb SATA 5400rpm
    blu ray, 1600x900 display

    Is this score ok? I thought the score for Memory could be a little higher as it has 6 GB memory... what do you guys think?

    Interesting. I have an FW190 with the 8600 (as opposed to your 8400) processor and my CPU score with Vista is 5.3. Weird....
