What do you mean by power leakage? You are getting shocked by the laptops case?

That's a dangerous situation. It has to do with the grounding of your laptop case. Take care not to get shocked.

I am assuming your plug has a ground? Three plugs?

What has likely happened is some ground cable has come loose inside of the case and power is now "leaking" into the case. You should contact Sony because you have the possibility of getting shocked.

is the body made from metal?
I'm using aluminum powerbook and i get zapped once or twice when using the power adaptor without grounding. When I use the plugs with grounding, I never had any trouble.

Did you solved your power issue? My brother is suffering the same issue with his vgn-cr520 notebook.
