    Hi,

I have a friend with a Z series laptop who has just purchased two media docks for his home and office. When he connects two Viewsonic monitors to the Dock using HDMI and VGA, he says that the text isn't clear on either.

I have checked he is running at 1920x1080 which is the native resolution of the monitors. Also if he uses the onboard VGA and HDMI connectors then the text is clear - indicating that the cabling and monitors are fine.

Are there known issues with the image quality from the Media dock or are there any additional settings he can change?

The only additional idea I have is to ensure that the cables are using ferrite cores, but not convinced this will help.

    Thanks.

Let try another monitor other than Viewsonic to see if any difference.
However, if the text is not clear when using HDMI, there could be dock problem.
