I have recently purchased a VPCCW17FX Sony Vaio Laptop. I've just recently noticed that the power plug seems to wiggle in the jack a bit and I was wondering if this is something I should be concerned with. It does not seem to affect the power connection any but I would like to know if it is something I should worry about.

it's very normal ,, actually it's suppose to be like that , if it doesn't wiggle it will be easy to broke.

Most new notebooks come with a jack that is connected to the motherboard with wires, letting it move.

They used to just solder the jack directly to the motherboard, but that caused it to break after a while.

Thanks for the replies. I tend to get paranoid about things and I just wanted to be sure.
