    Hey all,

    With the help of the many useful posts on this board I have just succesfully downgraded my Vaio NR11M/S from Vista to XP Pro SP3. Everything is working great except for a power management/battery checker tool.

    Right now I cannot see the status of my battery which is quite important! I have tried the drivers from similar NR models from www.sony-asia.com but unfortunately they were not compatible. Also, I could not find anything through the search function on this board.

    Welcome to the Forums.

    While this won't help you, I have similar problems with my Acer, I put XP on it, but the power management apps for XP just don't work as well as they should, so I'm going back to Vista.
