    Hi all,

Unfortunately I bought a MacBook Pro a few months ago since I thought I needed it to power my two Dell 30" screens. Does anyone know of a way to get these Dell's working using the new VAIO Pro? Been a long time Z owner, and I'd love to stick with Sony if I can.

    Thanks all.

Would love to know if you figure this out Dan. I have the Dell 27"s and want a laptop that can easily handle both.

Not sure if the HDMI out on the pro will handle 2560x1600, but startech makes usb 3.0 to displayport adaptors that will handle that resolution. $86 each and you will need two... my friend bought 1 and it worked fine for him and i assume two wouldn't be an issue.

    I doubt it.

I mean sure, you could plug in two USB3.0 docks but they won't power anything 'comfortably'.

Get an M3800, ZBook14 (for something a bit lighter - as far as I can see the Ultraslim dock* doesn't block the onboard DP so I guess you could use both the dock's and the onboard at once...?) or something.

What 30" Dells are we talking about?

*ZBook 14 lists compatibility for only this dock
