ok, elementary mistake, but I've never messed with this key before and when I decide to press it, I don't know how to zoom back out!! How am I suppose to bring my screen back to standard view? I have the VGN-FZ140E model, 15.4" screen... I need some help? Please.

Right click on the desktop, then the last emtry in the list (whatever it is called in English) and from there there should be something eih display settings.
    Try if this works.

    Still... Fn+F10 should work...

i've been messing with the display and everything, but all my stuff still looks squashed. The text on all my icons/windows are fuzzy also....

idk... but to me, the display is crappy even if I have it on the recommended 1024x768. Not sure if I'm explaining my problem enough... but, hope some of you guys can offer your best knowledge.

Just wondering, isn't the FZ widescreen???
How can you then have 1024x768 ? That would be 4:3 rather than 16:10 (14:9 ???)
Did you check you DPI settings??

That may be your problem. The recommended resolution is NOT 1024x768 it is 1280x800.

changed it to those settings... text taller and still blurry. DPI is set at the default 96.

This text is seriously doing a number on my eyes, but I really can't figure out what the heck is wrong...

If you're in warranty, just plague the Sony support, but be friendly, they'll hopefully take pity on you and will help you solve that problem.-

(Friendly because some people had some very bad experiences with customer support otherwise... mine was friendly)

Have you installed different Video drivers? Are you using the stock ones supplied with the machine? What else besides hitting FN-F10 has been done? Be specific.
