I am also looking at this offer from J&R. I have purchased from J&R for several years and they have been very good. Besides, they have a 30 day return policy I believe. This price looks great, it's almost a $1000 less than a VGNTT290 with similar configuration. It has the Sprint WWAN option so that says it isn't a refresh as they have been using the Verizon WWAN on newer ones but I have a Express card from Verizon that I use. The Express Card would probably take more battery life but it's difficult to dismiss the savings. Other than the higher speed CPU etc is there a known problem with this model I don't know about? Is the VGNTT290 that much improved or contain improvements beyond the obvious?

There really is not that much of difference between TT190 & TT290 beside the obvious. Definitly a good deal.
