I'm considering selling my current Sony Vaio PCG-K33, has the following specs:
    • 3.06 GHz Pentium 4 Processor
    • 1GB RAM (Shared Video)
    • 60GB HDD
    • 15.4" WXGA with XBRITE Display
    • CD-RW/DVD Combo
    • Integrated Wireless 802.11b/g
    • Memory Stick Media Slot
If I was to sell it, I don't know how much it would be worth, with is the query of this thread.

Look on eBay see how much they go for. You sales skills will also be a factor.

I see two with starting bids of $500, and one with a Buy it Now of $800; the only other I could find had a starting bid of $350. I was hoping to get a little more (like around $800, which apparently isn't overly unreasonable if someone has it as their Buy Now price). It's not very encouraging that none of the three have any bids thus far.

I'd say about $400 and $500 if you're lucky, since you can easily find a $379 Core Solo T1350 (1.86GHz, approx. to 3.4GHz P4) on holiday sales

A brand new Pentium M 1.6GHz laptop is worth about $600 and the performance is equivalent to a 3.0GHz P4. So roughly, you'd get $400-500 out of a used 3.06GHz P4.

    Sounds alright?

That may be unrealistic considering you can get a new notebook for the same price.

I think Sony might give you $300 for that on a trade in.
