    Hello,

I have a serious problem with my Sony Vaio VGN Z11MNB. Its complete screen is shifted down to right bottom edge even at BIOS view. So there is a black border at the left and top. When windows boot is finished the black border is gone but the screen is still shifted. That means I see the windows desktop not in the middle. It is shifted and stays there. The taskbar thus not visible any more and in fullscreen I can't see the bottom section of my programs....

A year ago this error was sporadic and went away after some cold reboots. Meanwhile it stays as it is..
What is broken in my notebook?

    Thank you
    sanyo

Is it the same in both stamina and speed modes?
