    Problem With Laptop/battery - Help Needed Asap

    I have the laptop (detailed below in signature), which I have had for a year and a half. This problem has just started over a week ago:

    At random times when I choose to remove the charger cable from the laptop, or connect the laptop and the charger, the laptop will suddenly switch off. This is accompanied by soft beeping sounds emanating from the charger pack, which die down once the plug is removed from the socket. This has at times resulted in loss of work I was doing when I plugged the charger into the laptop.

    Anyone else had this problem? If yes, how did this get fixed, if at all? Any help at all would be appreciated as I have begun to worry whenever I need to charge the laptop it will switch off, and I reckon the problem lies with the battery, as it is making beeping sounds as described above.

    Please help asap.

    Any problems with the laptop switching off when running on just the battery?
