This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Problem after Recovery

    Did a full switch out, old Hard drive blew up, put in 60Gig,transferred files,etc.
    Now at start up a dialogue box comes up "PTLACPI" (in Power panel )dll failed. comes up .
    Is this a system error or a utility loading problem????
    Is there a patch or a simple solution to getting the dll to load??
    It isnt a major hassel but one of those irritating Sony thingies.
