I have vista in my sz270pc. After I click "safety remove hardware" for my usb driver, and stop it. The light on the usb driver is still on. In xp it always goes out. Is this normal for vista?

Hrm that's weird. At my work they still use XP and the lights on my FlashDrives stay on; sometimes...

Honestly though, I just yank them out without even removing hardware. It's an extra precautionary to prevent it from getting corrupt, but the chances are low.

Regardless, Safely Remove Hardware usually turns OFF the device when you do it that way, making it safe to remove. By having the LED on, it signifies the unit is still being powered, which sort've defeats the purpose of doing SRH. Maybe a bug, or maybe not. So I honestly have no clue if its normal for Vista.
