I just got my new sony SZ270 and when I open the package I did not find any reinstallation CDs inside. Is there a way how to reformat my computer? Do I need Window Professional CD and the resource CD to reformat it? Also do I need to install the programs in a chronological order? Thanks in advance.

You should make it by yourself. Recently most of laptop manufactures do not provide any Restoration CD. Read manual

go in the start menu and look for "create backup disks."

all the manuals that are typically provided in print format are now located somewhere using the start menu. unfortunately tehse "backup" disks only create backups of everything that came in the laptop... which includes the bloat. you better do it soon kuz once the hd conks out then the only other option would be paying sony to send you the backup disks
