This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have the Sony Vaio VPCF22FX. About a month ago, my screen stopped going brighter. I can't manually change it. I thought it might be the auto from stopping me, so I turned that off. Still nothing. Anyone have the solution to this?

    Laptop is all up to date. Winodws 7 Ultimate.
