My Sony Vaio VPCY115FG is having a problem for months now. While I am watching videos from youtube when suddenly the screen turned black but the power is on, the fan is still spinning and I think my netbook is still in perfect condition since it just turned 1 year except for the black screen.

I tried unplugging the wire and remove the battery and after a seconds I put it back again but after I turned it off and used it again the other day, black screen still occurs (the power is on and fan spinning).

I asked my friend about it and he said it was flex but I have no idea with that. So I am consulting you guys with my problem to have a second opinion. What could be the problem my Sony Vaio VPCY115FG?

    Thank you in advance!

What are the temperatures of the CPU and GPU? Install a free utility like Open Hardware Monitor and see if anything heats up alarmingly when you watch those YouTube videos.
