Hi,
I have problems with the battery of my new Vaio Z21. The first charging cycle over night, it just got about 60% of its capacity. Then I discharged the battery, and now in the second charging cycle, it gets 62% but it is not charging anymore, even if the Icon in the Taskbar is just telling me, that it is charging... If I detach the plug from the power supply, it still shows 62%, but no lifetime in hours.
Anyone have an idea, what's the problem here? The battery saving function is disabled...
Thanks!
Christian
edit: It's now running about 30 minutes on battery and it's still showing me 62% without a lifetime...

Have instaled original Sony pre-installed windows?
or your OS? -
That's strange. I never had that problem.
I recommend that you disconnect from ac power and remove the internal battery. Leave the battery off for at least 5 minutes. Then install the battery, boot up the system, and hook it up to ac power. See if that helps. -
yepp, I'm using the factory installed windows.
I'm going to remove the battery for some minutes and see if that helps
Thanks for your help!
