I just recently got a TXN19 and I performed a clean install of Vista Ultimate. have everything working except for the @$%@$^ EVDO. I have done the following:

-Installed the Novatel driver listed under my model for OS migration to Vista. However, even though the driver installs, the modem is not listed under device manager.
-Smartwi for my model would not install. It gave me an incorrect model error, even though model.txt had the correct info. So I installed the Smartwi for TXN29N by changing the model.txt file. After installing, I ran the Sprint activation and during the activation, the Novatel modem showed up under device manager as funcional. But the activation fails and the modem disappears when I close the Smartwi app.
-I even installed the Sprint software from their website. It could not find a modem unless I also opened Smartwi and went part of the way through the activation process. It then found a fully fuctional modem and even allowed me to update the firmware. But if I closed Smartwi it disappeared.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
