Hi there... I have a problem with my VAIO Z. The WiFi is not working. When I switch the switch on the case the LED lights but it still doesn't work. And when I do the system diagnostics in only tells me to turn on the WiFi with the switch.

Did you have any similar problem? How to make it work?

I should also add that using SmartWi Connection Utility doesn't help either. It recognizes when the switch is 'on' or 'off' but I won't let me turn the WiFi on either way.

Any Device Manager says the chipset itself is OK...

    Any help?

    JA

Or try installing the latest Intel 5100 AGN driver from Intel's site.
