Hi there... I have a problem with my VAIO Z. The WiFi is not working. When I switch the switch on the case the LED lights but it still doesn't work. And when I do the system diagnostics in only tells me to turn on the WiFi with the switch.
Did you have any similar problem? How to make it work?
I should also add that using SmartWi Connection Utility doesn't help either. It recognizes when the switch is 'on' or 'off' but I won't let me turn the WiFi on either way.
Any Device Manager says the chipset itself is OK...
Any help?

-
try uninstalling the driver and then download and re-install a new one from the sony site.
-
InfyMcGirk while(!(succeed=try()));
Or try installing the latest Intel 5100 AGN driver from Intel's site.
-
make sure that Sony SmartWIFI isn't goofing it up either

I've installed a new driver. It works just fine. Thanks a lot...
