    Hello friends!

    Can anybody help me, please?
I have a problem with my Sony VAIO VGN-FE41M.
I have installed Win 7 on this laptop but laptop doesn't work good anymore. Every time I try to start Windows, I must to insert Windows 7 instalation disc and to choose option to repair OS. After that, Windows starts but the problem comes back after next time I shoot down the Windows.
What should I do to fix that? Obviously, there is a problem with starting Win 7 on this VAIO!? Do you think that flashing BIOS (or something else) can help?

Thank you all very much for answering!

It could be Windows 7 installation is not completed yet.
You may try make a fresh install again. Back up all your data before doing so.

Windows 7 instalation is finished but there is problem with starting Windows without CD. Every time I try to turn on laptop, after first welcome screen with VAIO logo, appears just black screen and I need to restart laptop, insert instalation CD and to "repair" Windows. After that, Windows starts normaly and everything is OK, all programs and data is there.

Then you may have to check ram. If you have 2 sticks, try remove one.
Hard drive bad blocks could also cause the problem.

Check that your Hard drive is set in Compatibility mode and not in ACHI mode in your BIOS, i've seen similar problems before if this an option in your bios and you either messed with it or restored bios defaults..

Ok, it's possible that you're installing windows to a corrupt partition or boot loader, so the next time you install windows delete the partition of your C:\ drive, partition it and then format it and install windows. If this doesn't work there may be a physical issue with your drive.

No, 32bit OS supports max of 3GB ram.

I think I realised what is the reason of this problem. I uninstalled previous Vista driver for this graphic card and problem was solved. So, I think I need to find Win 7 graphic driver for NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 but there is no driver for this graphic card on official NVIDIA website.

Windows 7 32bit natively supports Go 7400 unless your laptop is not Go 7400
