I have a VAIO VGN-CR125E and downgraded it to Windows XP recently. I downloaded and installed all of the required XP drivers from the sony-asia.com which are presented for VAIO VGN-CR2 series. Althogh they all worked with my model, I suffer from inablilty of brightness control hotkeys ( Fn+F5 and Fn+F6). Ofcourse I know that Sony had warned about the problem in the mentioned website but I wonder how there is no way to enable them just like how they operate in Vista. If the video card supports changing the display brightness (which is observed in Vista), how the driver provided for XP does not present it?
