    Hi all :hi2: ,
I have the following problem with my Sony VPCYB3V1E:

I just bought a new SSD: Intel 520 – 120GB which I’m willing to install in my laptop. Unfortunately when I start installing Windows 7 (64 bit) from a bootable USB, at the beginning of the installation - “extraction part” of the files different errors pop up ( Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570.) and the installation cannot continue.
When using the same SSD on another SONY laptop the installation starts right away from the same USB stick without a problem.
Can anyone please give an advice?
I tried everything I could think of (formatting the SSD in advance, etc.) but nothing helped, I just can’t start the installation.
I even tried to start the installation on another computer and when the installation files are uploaded, put the drive in my computer – “Windows loading” and couple of seconds later the laptop restarts without any message.

Did yyou check AHCI or IDE settings in BIOS?
Maybe it is wrong cable if exists.
    Change USB ports...

    Hi,
no it is not from the BIOS. It is the last version. Nothing wrong with the cables. :( Still unable to install

    And USB ports?

Are you sure that your RAM is 100% working? I know that you didn't change it but you better check it using Memtest 86+

Have you tried swapping between Legacy and EFI boot in bios?
Not sure if you have that option on your model. Or even if this could be the problem. But athleast its worth a try.
