well recently i reinstalled windows XP but on another partition. I started to reinstall the drivers all my graphics drivers have gone fine but im having trouble with these, the most annoying of all the audo driver since im a huge fan of music;(i have no idea what these names of the driver exe. files refer to just want some help)

-HddProtection, (not approved by Microsoft apparently ie. not tested and proven to work) My laptop was working perfectly well before with this supposedly installed
-Audio (its a sigmatel but because of the PC wiping my drivers i cannot check which type and since i bought the PC in china everything is in chinese which i do not understand a word of :( )
-Sinosun_TPM_SecureTools_3.0(no clue in the world what this driver is for)
-SonyImgF, (not approved by Microsoft apparently ie. not tested and proven to work) My laptop was working perfectly well before with this supposedly installed
    -and the Modem driver

Yes i know thats alot of problems but the laptop seems to be working just fine without them apart from the audio.

I need all the help i can get, Thanx guys!!

What notebook do you have? Have you gotten the drivers from esupport.sony.com for your model?

funny you shud mention that. Everything including the manuals are in chinese apart from the actual operating system itself. The laptop refuses to show any traces of a sound card or anything :S

Its a laptop btw and the drivers were all in a folder on the laptop after installation thats what i have used to reinstall my nvidia driver and so on. However i do think that all laptops in the VGN-SZ series have the same audio driver

No, the audio driver in the latest series is different and won't work on earlier models.

What is your exact model, SZ1-7?
