Hey everybody I'm a new Vaio user. I got the T350P for school recently and I've run into a problem. Everytime I change my network settings, like if a friend is trying to send me files over a peer to peer wireless connection, soon afterwards the whole system becomes really slow.

When I power on, basically it takes a really long time for everything to load, my wallpaper shows up but not the start menu or anything like that. Only if I wait a very long time or if I force explorer to open does it work. And then even when I do that, it just generally seems to be running slowly.

Neither changing the network settings back to its original settings nor system restore fixed anything. I did a recovery and everything is fine, but I anticipate that the same problem would occur if I need to change my network settings again.

Any ideas as to how to fix this?
