The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I was wondering which processor is overall faster in every day applications like Word and such. The P4 or the Centrino found in the A and S series computers. Thanks

    If for everyday applications like word processing, online and etc. you won't really tell if there is any difference between P4 and Centrino.

    Just my 2 cents, I can me wrong.
