    Hi!

I purchased the Sony Vaio CS11S/W yesterday on eBay. I was excited, as the performance seems to be great and also looks good!

To my dissapointment, i've read several BAD reviews on the laptop about how the quality of the build is poor. I purchased this laptop, as it is Sony - meant to be very good quality and reliable. Simply, because im going to Univercity and i'm wanting a laptop that will last me through my studying years.

The laptop that i purchased is brand new, a recently manufactured. Do you know if sony has fixed the concerns, such as a the noisey fan, loose battery etc?

If so, do you know where i stand with me purchasing it from eBay, do i return it back to the seller (if they will accept this) or take it to Sony??

By the way, i'm from the UK.

    Thank you in advance!

    Kay

I personally would not recommend one of those because of the fan issue.
No one can predict what will happen for you, but the chances of you having a problem are not small.
Some people that own the latest models are still experiencing problems.

If you're going to keep this i would suggest you buy an extended warranty pack and register this on the Sony website. Sony will want to know when you purchased your laptop and a few other details like which store you purchased it from. You could ask the person who you bought it from for these details.

How much did this cost you? May be if you let us know what sort of laptop you’re looking for we can come up with some other recommendations here.
