Can anyone tell me how the push to tv works for the vaio SA? I heard that you can have the SA display on a TV wirelessly but do you need a certain kind of tv or just an adapter?

Just need the push2tv adapter and an HDMI input on your tv. I am using it with my 2 year old Vizio TV and it works great.

Not to be confused with video streaming which lets you watch movies etc. on your TV using the network connection (wired or wireless). DLNA et. al.

What specifically is the adapter? Like, what is it called or where can I find it?

Push2TV is Netgears adapter for Intels WiDi technology. Push2TV acts like another display plugged into your notebook when switched to it. It works by creating a dedicated wireless network connection from your notebook to the Push2TV box. It is worth noting that there is a bit of a lag between what is displayed on the notebook and on the tv so I wouldn't recommend it for gaming.
