I have been reading some posts about SZ laptop problems like getting electric shock, battery life, broken laptop, and after people call-in/send-in their laptop for repair.. they received 3 pronged AC adapter.

So I am just wondering is there any risk for using a non grounded AC adapter (2 pronged) that Sony provided VS a grounded adapter... I also have a Dell and Compaq laptop.. and it almost appear to me that only Sony uses 2 pronged AC adapter. (any other brand uses 2 pronged?)

my SZ battery (less than 1 week old) loses battery power even if I simply place it on the table (w/o connected to the laptop) and Sony told me it is normal for battery to lose power and die out even if I take it out and put it on the table. (lost 5% in 6~8 hrs. and 15% in 24hrs connected to laptop)
which didn't really happen to me with my dell's battery .... or at least is not this obvious (my dell battery has a LED battery power lvl indicator) Is this because the physical build size of the battery? where the big ones like Dell's can conserve power longer where the small ones like SZ's can't?

    does electric shoc

Thanks for the respond in advance!
