    My question is, What has your experience been with sony in terms of batteries?


    I bought a Refurbished Vaio Z790 from Sonystyle outlet. Everything is great except one:

    It came equipped with a Large Capacity Battery and that thing holds less charge than my 8month old Z720 which carries standard capacity battery. And it came with scratches on the battery. Obviously it is a refurbished product but I would assume that at least they would replace the lithium cells inside the battery.


    Now I never done warranty with Sony, Laptop carries 90-day warranty.

    Download battery bar to see what the battery wear is. Typically MFR's won't replace Li cells unless they are 50% or more degraded.
