To anyone that received and has alot of experiences on EMS shipping from japan to the united states I have a question. Does usps deliver EMS shipped packages on saturday and sunday and if they do, do you have to sign when you receive the package?? Also how long did it take you to get the package via ems and where in the united states were you located in?

Ring who? I called usps but some say that they do sat. and sun. delivery but some other locations say that all express mail are delivered weekends but maybe not for international so i'm just stumped =/

I just want someone who has had real experience in this so I can know for sure.

I wonder how many questions about EMS you can ask in how many threads :)

You sure want your TZ to come, just like me.

I'm just worried about the weekend, because no one will be home on saturday and sunday all day till around 9pm. So I dont want them to deliver it on the weekend and leave it on my front door so I want to make sure they make you sign for it and rather receive it on monday.

It's like any other package - if you're not home, they'll leave a note and they'll denote if they will redeliver or you have to pick it up at the post office.

You can't control it, but you can see its progress over the Web either via the USPS site with the tracking number or the Japan EMS site (the Japan EMS site is a bit more up to date I find).

However, they won't leave it without a signature. If you're not home, don't worry.
