Currently in consideration of getting an SR series VAIO.

One question about it. Are all pre-configured SR VAIOs made in japan?

Im specifically talking about the VGN-SR19VN

    Thanks in advance!

The VGN-SR19VN is a UK/Europe unit, correct? If so, i believe that, as discussed many times before, the CTO is built at a europe sony facility, but all of the components are the EXACT SAME as the ones used on the pre-configured units built in japan(or China). There is virtually no difference in build quilty, fit, finish, etc between a CTO and a pre-configured unit. I wouldn't worry about it.
