Do you have to plug the laptop into something to watch tv? Also if I was traveling across states in a car would I be able to watch tv on it or does it have to be connected to the internet or what? I really can't find much info about the giga pocket. Can you get cable tv on it?

You have to plug it into something to watch tv.

Its possible I suppose, you may be able to use rabbit ears or something of that nature but you'd look kind of funny. [ ;)]

You can get any source on it, cable tv, satellite tv, rabbit ears etc.

Here are some tutorials and more info for you:

ok since you have to hook up the cable cord can you also hook up a ps2 or gamecube to it using the adapter that works for tvs without the yellow white and red plug thing. Couldn't you turn it to channel 3 or 4 and play your game on there? Or would that not work? Just wondering cuz I need to know if I need to get a tv seperate or not. If I do then I might have to re think the laptop with the giga pocket tv on it.

Also, I don't think you can watch cable or satellite while travelling, at least not that I know of...but that would be cool. You need to have a source to input into the pc. You can hook up an external antenna, but that would only get you a few terrestrial stations (local channels), and not cable.
What I do is record a bunch of shows/movies, etc., before I leave, and then watch them later while on the plane. (You can set it up to record shows by itself on a timer).
