Hi to all SB series owners,
I have a question about the headphone-in jack.
Is it a Headphone and Microphone (IN) duel jack?
Or does it only take headphones?
Because I must have a Mic-in for my notebook.
Thank you all in advance.

It is a combination port. However, I would be interested to know more about it from owners as well.
Are you using an adapter to be able to use your own microphone and Headphones? And is the microphone input Mono, or Stereo? -
Any Owners please?

I'd like to know if you can use Apple's headphone/mic combo that comes with the iPhone on the SB. (obviously I'm interested to see if the mic and headphones work together)

If you don't get a response to your question you might want to try the SA/SB/SC/SD owners thread.
http://forum.notebookreview.com/son...al-sony-sb-sa-sc-sd-series-owners-thread.html
You can also search within that thread and you'll most likey find that this question has been answered before. -
I tried it now and on my SB the mic my apple headphones didnt work. If I
remember correctly some of us owners got it to work and some didnt but
i think most of us didnt
its hard to search within the thread. over 200 pages.

Hm ok. It'll be interesting to find more about it. Typically they are known as a TRRS connector, but the "RR" can be freely swapped around.
