If you have Office 2007 FULL VERSION pre-installed with your Sony notebook, can you reformat, reinstall your own copy of Windows and then install Office 2007 from the recovery DVD?

    I don't quite get what you're asking.

If you mean that if the Office 2007 that came with the laptop will reinstall if you reformat using the Recovery Discs, then yes.

If you mean if you can install your own version of Office 2007, then yes. I uninstalled the crappy Student version that came with it and installed my own Enterprise version which contains everything.

I don't quite get why you'd want to reinstall Office from the Recovery Disc if you have your own version. Surely, it must be better.

I don't know why you didn't get my question. I didn't say that I have my own copy of Office 2007, I said that I have my own copy of Windows.

To reiterate, can you reformat and reinstall your own copy of Windows and then reinstall Office 2007 from the recovery disc?
